Many sports associations will recognise the challenges: membership administration is in at least as many different systems as the number of affiliated sports clubs. The use of volunteers is increasingly occasional rather than long-term, while members and boards have increasingly high expectations.<\/span><\/p>


<\/span> Outdated and fragmented systems create a lot of hassle in determining membership numbers every year. Data is far from real-time, which means there is no overview and the data becomes worthless as steering information. Volunteers no longer feel like the hassle and drop out. As a board, you lack grip.<\/span><\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

If, as a sports association, you want to keep a grip on members, volunteers and processes while at the same time properly facilitating the affiliated associations, you almost cannot avoid investing in a single integrated platform. When choosing a platform, you naturally prefer a future-proof and scalable solution, with user-friendliness at its core. You probably already felt it coming: we saw a clear opportunity to apply the Salesforce platform to this.<\/span><\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

TwoPurpose has created a model for sports associations to address key challenges. Its core components are:<\/span><\/p>

    Members can view and edit their data, and apply for volunteer positions - for themselves or for minor children. The technology behind this is Salesforce Experience Cloud. It allows pages to be designed entirely in the association's house style. Equally important: unused Salesforce functions can be hidden, keeping the interface simple and clear even for non-IT people.<\/span><\/p>

    \u00a0<\/p>

    Using FinDock, we can easily collect dues for associations and automatically forward them to the clubs, without them having to worry about mandate management or IBAN checks. Does the payment remain outstanding? Then the member will automatically receive an e-mail with an iDEAL payment link.<\/span><\/p>

    \u00a0<\/p>

    Communication through Chatter allows for forums where connection is made: for example, all treasurers can seek help from each other in an approachable way. Members and volunteers feel more involved, and from the association, information can more easily reach the right roles. Always being able to see who holds which role or has held which role, and whether a valid VOG is present with the correct job aspects, gives enormous peace of mind within the organisation.<\/span><\/p>

    Registration and invoicing for all kinds of events takes place within the private environment, so you don't have to enter all the data every time. When organising, the target group can be specified so that, for example, for a regional tournament, registration is only open to members from that region. Some of the personal details, such as emergency numbers, are temporarily shared with the organisers and immediately hidden again after the event. No more lists lying around in the canteen, but a grip on who can see what and when.<\/span><\/p>

    Management information wo<\/span>r becomes more reliable and available in real time. Growth and impact can be managed again.<\/span><\/p>
