Multifactor authentication<\/h3>

As the number of digital threats increases, so does the focus on security. And that is a good thing. A first step is to prevent unauthorised access to IT systems. Using just a username and password is actually no longer acceptable. Passwords are too often \"leaked\" or easily guessed by powerful computers. That's why Salesforce is going to make multifactor authentication mandatory from 1 February 2022. That means you have to identify yourself in at least two ways before you are logged in. For example, think of entering a password as well as a code from an authentication app on your mobile phone.<\/p>

Many customers are wondering what to do now. Our advice: wait until after the summer, as the policy can still be adjusted between now and early next year. We will issue more detailed advice in the course of this year. In any case, Single Sign On (SSO) still remains the finest solution to make logging in as easy as possible for users. SSO involves a single secure login to Google or Microsoft, for example, which also allows access to services such as Salesforce. Configuring a link between the two systems is quick to implement.<\/p>

Salesforce updates<\/h3>

Salesforce regularly sends emails about updates and changes they are going to make. We understand that this raises questions. \"Does this affect us too?\" \"What should I do? When in doubt, we always advise you to contact g-company. In addition, you can assume that g-company is aware of all important changes and will contact you when action is needed.<\/p>
